Natural gas heats our homes and cooks our food but it can also be used to generate the electricity that powers our economy - and with far less environmental impact than most other fuels.

Australia’s abundant natural gas reserves are continuing to grow so we can also export more natural gas to growing countries in our region. That’s positive news for job creation, positive news for our economy and positive news for the environment because it will lower global carbon pollution.
